  • What should I do before Santiago Cleaning arrives?

    To ensure maximum efficiency, we ask that you pick up any toys or clothing before we arrive. We also ask that you find a place for your pets so they’re comfortable while we clean. Following through with these requests will help both your family and our team ensure that all of your possessions are in a safe place.

  • What do I do if I have an alarm system?

    If your home has a security system, please provide us with the code and steps necessary for us to turn off the alarm. We will reset the alarm when we leave. Alternatively, you may want to disable it on the day of your scheduled clean.

  • Do I need to be home for every cleaning service?

    No, most of our customers aren’t home when we arrive. In a majority of these cases, our insured housecleaning professionals are provided with a spare key or garage code.

  • Are the cleaning employees screened?

    Absolutely. The cleaners go through a screening process that includes a background check, reference checks and in-person interviews. We also require significant experience in residential house cleaning to work with us.

  • Does someone have to visit my home before a cleaning service?

SCHEDULING

  • How do I reschedule a cleaning?

    It’s simple. Call the office at (603) 493-5544 and speak to one of our representatives. There also may be times when weather makes it unsafe for us to travel and carry equipment and supplies to your home. Your understanding and cooperation in rescheduling is greatly appreciated.

  • What if I want to schedule an extra clean?

    You may call us at (603) 493-5544 and speak to one of our representatives. They will assist you in scheduling an additional clean.

  • What happens if my scheduled day falls on a holiday?

    Santiago Cleaning works 365 days a year! If your scheduled cleaning day falls on a holiday, we will still arrive and clean as normal. If you would like to reschedule, please give us a call.

  • How do I cancel a cleaning?

    You may call us at (603) 493-5544 and speak to one of our representatives. They will assist you in cancelling a cleaning.


CLEANING

  • Do you provide the cleaning supplies?

    We will provide all of the cleaning supplies and “tools of our trade”. We properly disinfect your supplies and keep them separated. Of course, if you would prefer to provide the cleaning supplies, let us know, we are happy to oblige.

  • How many cleaners do you typically send?

    We clean in teams of two or three cleaners. If you’re on a recurring schedule, we’ll do our best to match you with the same cleaners going forward.

  • Should I tip my cleaner?

    Are you happy with your clean and want to show appreciation to your team? Tipping is a great way to do so. Tips may be left on the kitchen table at the time of cleaning.

  • Do you clean windows?

    Yes, for an additional fee we will clean your interior windows only.

  • Are there any services you don't offer?

    Yes, we do not clean exterior windows. If there is any other cleaning service you are wondering about, please don't hesitate to ask!
